Flights

Air Travel Booking

Self-funded and sponsored participants must book their flights themselves, but given the central location of Bangkok in Asia, participants have the choice of several carriers. To facilitate flight reservations, the BAQ website provides an overview of the main airlines and indicative costs for a return flight from major Asian cities to Bangkok. Early flight booking is recommended as BAQ 2008 is held in the week of the Loy Kratong, one of Thailand biggest cultural festivals, which marks the start of the tourist season.

Visa Requirement

Nationals from certain countries will require a visa. However, for many countries no visa is required, and participants can obtain a visa upon arrival. Please contact the BAQ 2008 Secretariat in case you require an invitation letter in support of your visa application.

Information about Thai visa requirements for different countries, will be posted on this site. See visa information.
