How to register

You must register online to participate in BAQ 2008. This ensures that we have your latest contact information, which will allow us to send you timely updates about the event. Is also helps us in the preparation of your workshop ID and workshop kit.

How to register:

1. In the right navbar, click on online registration

   (In case you encounter an error, you may download the ASCII text version and email it to baq2008@cai-asia.org)
    

2. Contact Details: Enter your contact details. All fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required.
    
3. Dietary Restrictions: If you have any food allergies or restrictions, specify your meal preferences. This will allows us to select an appropriate menu for lunches and dinners.
    
4. Participant Type: By default, the system will assume that you are a self-funded participant. This means that you will be paying for your flight, hotel, and the appropriate registration fee.

   However, the BAQ Organizing Committee may sponsor a limited number of participants from developing countries based on the terms of sponsorship and submission of the "Carbon Reduction Pledge".

   If you would like to apply for sponsorship, specify any of the following under Participant Type:

   • "Apply for flight sponsorship only"
   • "Apply for hotel + per diem sponsorship only"
   • "Apply for full sponsorship"
     (NOTE: Applicants who apply for partial sponsorship have a better chance of getting approval than those who apply for full sponsorship)

     If you are the spouse/partner of a BAQ 2008 workshop participant, please select "Spouse" (registration fee for spouses is US$ 100 to be able to join in all evening meals and social events during BAQ 2008, excluding lunches). Spouses that do not intend to join in the dinners or social events need not register.
      

5. Click SUBMIT
    
6. You will receive an email notification confirming your registration. You will be assigned a unique BAQ registration number. If you notice an error in your registration details, DO NOT register again. Instead, email baq2008@cai-asia.org and we will make the change for you. Be sure to mention your BAQ registration number in your email.
    
7. All future communications on BAQ 2008 will be sent to the email address you provided in Step 2. This includes application status of those who applied for sponsorship.
    
8. If you are a self-funded participant, you will need to pay a registration fee. Registration payments can be made through PayPal or Xoom. For more details, see Payment section.
