Rationale/Objectives:
I CE and Bicycle Partnership Program is currently drafting a Position Paper on Cycling in Asian Countries under the Sustainable Urban
Mobility in Asia (SUMA) Program. The main purpose of the session is to share the information compiled in this position paper and to discuss
its relevance for policy development on sustainable urban transport. Thus the session can contribute to the elaboration of some think pieces
for the Low Carbon (Sustainable) Urban Transport Agenda for Asia.

Participants:
20 participants with a maximum of 30. The target participants are:
- Experts who contributed to the position paper
- Cycling Academic Network representatives
- SUMA partners and CAI-Asia Center representative
- Interested policy makers
- Interested Bicycle Industry representatives willing to sponsor the
session
